Upper/Lower limits sometimes are not respected

this is very weird, sometimes the upper and lower limits are not respected. If I run a print for example and then try to calibrate the platform, the build plate smashes onto the screen and doesn't respect the endstop.

If I stop a print while printing the plate raises to the top and never stops moving hitting the top until I turn off the printer.

During printing everything works though.

Any idea?

Re: Upper/Lower limits sometimes are not respected

During printing NanoDLP does not use limits at all, my guess is limits are not set correctly at all.

during printing everything works correctly.

When calibrating the plate AFTER I printed the endstop is not found and the plate smashes on the screen. If I reboot and try to calibrate again it works.

Re: Upper/Lower limits sometimes are not respected

So limit is not defined on RAMPS or wired to it. It does not get controlled by nanodlp if it is not in direct control mode.

I just bought the official nanodlp shield, I hope that will solve my problems

Documentation much more focused on RAMPS and official controller board. As majority using RAMPS.

I am using RAMPS but the problem apparently is when using the touch screen. If I use the web interface everything works.

Please note that this link is broken http://new.nanodlp.com/nanodlp-nextion/ where can I get the latest firmware?

Re: Upper/Lower limits sometimes are not respected

If HMI is not working it is mostly manual gcode function issue, as hmi does not contains any gcode but relay on same gcodes which you setup on nanodlp. Please, list what is working and not working in terms of movement. Lets me check what could caused the issue.

Re: Upper/Lower limits sometimes are not respected

UV light doesn't turn on from the interface, and mostly Z axis movement. Limits upper/lower are ignored. But that seems to be the case only AFTER a print. If I use the screen right after a reboot, everything seems to be working.

Anyway I've got an official nanodlp shield coming, hope that will solve all issues...
