Can't slice models

I've been trying to slice a few models with the latest version of nanoDLP, but each time I either end up with black images only, or black images and "This plate is corrupted." I have tried STL's from B9Creator, Meshmixer, ZBrush and in both binary and ascii format. I have attached two calibration models from Meshmixer in both ASCII and Binary. This model opens and prints fine with CW.

Thanks!

Re: Can't slice models

I have tried the attached files and they are fine. Go to profile and edit layer color probably a color close to black has been chosen and result black layers.

For corrupted plates, share one which you receive that error.

Re: Can't slice models

Hey Shahin,

That did the trick, the color was set to black in the printer profile.

As for the "This plate is corrupted." I just got that on the Calibration-Binary.stl that was in the above zip file. If I preview the layers, they all look great except for the last one (layer 193), it has a broken image icon.

Thanks,
Corey

Corey,

What's your slicing depth? (layer depth)

Re: Can't slice models

Hey Shahin,

I was slicing at 51 microns, but I think there was something up with the decimal points. I entered it again and this time nanoDLP recommended 51.000999 and it sliced perfectly.

Thanks!

Re: Can't slice models

Hi All,
I have experience new problem for me, and is about same issue like above, but unfortunately changing color did not resolve my problem, as is mentioned. The file is checked and is OK but system shoves , every time on different position, that "Plate is corrupted". Something is definitely wrong. I have update software to 1298 version. Layer thickness in profile is 20 microns, and since now , I did not have problems. I have worked under 1280 before. Suddenly I have lost all my work from before, they disappear form list and only template has left. Any suggestion how to solve problem?  Best regards

Re: Can't slice models

You have not experienced the rendering issue on 1280?

About sudden disappear from the list, ssh into device and go to folder /home/pi/printer/public/plates see if your files are still there. If this issue persist open another thread.

Re: Can't slice models

Thanks for replay, but I have found where is the problem. During installation of program on SD card, system storage is limited to certain quantity, you need to expand to all disc. My system shows all the time Disc 100% and that make problem, now it is 12% and slicing was fine without problem. To other people, Please explain this properly, how to solve this problem. Best regards Sacha
