If you add a .zip file to Plates, then hit Regenerate, what is nanodlp supposed to do?
Thx
Offline
Just my 2 cents . The only time ive used regenerate is if ive changed the resin type/profile of a model in NanoDLP

Thats what I thought, but When I hit it after loading a .zip it just sits there saying this is not sliced. No error no nothing.
Offline
ok but when you've loaded a zip ( plate) you specify the resin yes . Try changing to a different resin profile then hit regenerate. Note: I'm working from memory as I'm not near my printer at the moment to test.

Usually it should not display regenerate for such plates.

This is 2418 running on a mac. It definitely does display and allow you to select Regenerate.

Just to add in, I upgraded to 2418 today and if I hit "regenerate" on any existing plate it just sits there saying "plate has not yet been sliced". If I click away to another page, resin profiles for instance, then come back to the plates page the model appears to have been sliced and is ready to print. Looks like a general problem with displaying the state of slicing.

Could not reproduce it. Maybe it is cached resource issue. Try refresh page using ctrl+shift+f5.

Doing a refresh as suggested cured the problem for me.

Got back to my printer. These 3 .stl’s were all sliced on the printer and I printed one of them. They all have valid previews so they are all sliced but even after page refresh they still show as not sliced. This is 2418.

Also After upgrading to full nanodlp on my phrizen xl, should I Expand File System in the Tools Section?
Offline
I expanded mine, but I also previously cloned my flash card on to a 32GB card before updating nanodlp...I expect the factory card has a filesystem that matches the card,,probably it won't hurt to do it. If you ssh into the pi you can tell if the filesystem matches the card.

Thx macdarren. Do you know what they use as a password for the pi?
Offline
@macdarren I haven't been able to figure out the pwd for the shuffle xl raspberry pi instance. Someone had PhrozenNO1 but that doesn't work. Do you recall it?
Offline
I never figured it out either..but ther is a way to reset it...I don't recall the exact steps but there are instructions online... probably google 'resetting root password for raspberry pi 'or something similar. I think you do have to remove card and have another pi to use...at least I think I did it that way.

Got it from another on facebook. For anyone interested. - ph2008
