Nextion LCD on Raspberry PI 3

Hi guys,
actually i'm using a RPI3 and a NanoDLP Shield v1.1 for my SLA DIY 3D printer, and I would like to buy a Nextion screen,  I searched on Bangood and Aliexpress and I found some Nextion LCD I'd love to use, but in the datasheet I read that the RPI3 isn't compatible with Nextion screen (only with model A, B and RPI2), could someone kindly give me some clarification?

Actually I believe the most of people using nextion with nanodlp on pi3 including myself.
