nanodlp act weird with DVR8825 maybe bug ?

Help guys i am almost finishing the setting but what is weird ! That when i connect  the ramps to nanodlp it act weird , but when i connect to Pronterface it act normal , talking about stepper
I reinstall nanodlp and even upgrade its the same

when i connect to pronterface it move smooth even when i move it to 100 mm  or even when i go home , and the torque is strong ( normal )

but when i connect to nanodlp it lose torque become super noisy when i press on 100 mm even when i press 10 mm it move little then stop and the sound it makes as if its still moving the 10 or 100 step but its holding it position with weak torque

so is there a configuration i need to edit ? i am using now nema 23 ( 1.8  , rev 200 ) as 16 micro step only shortage MS3 to run 16 step

and what is the configuration i need to set at nanodlp

using ramps 1.4 + arduino mega

i wish someone would help i have been stuck with that error for awhile

Re: nanodlp act weird with DVR8825 maybe bug ?

hi, you must modify printer setup and your resin profile gcodes (gcodes before and after print). for example in terminal type:    G1 Z30 F100    , in this code F is feedrate (speed of moving).

Re: nanodlp act weird with DVR8825 maybe bug ?

i checked those before , and i already set at boot up
G21
G91
M203 Z60

M203 means maximum feed rate , and still nothing improved

i only want the stepper to move as Feed rate 60 how to do that ?
at marlin i Edited the config ito 60 as you see up there  , so which section at nanodlp controls that , bootup Gcode list ?

if so  please tell me what should i mainly write , and i will start playing around to find good results

Re: nanodlp act weird with DVR8825 maybe bug ?

does your problem exists when you send command from terminal? for example G1 Z30 F60?

Re: nanodlp act weird with DVR8825 maybe bug ?

maximum feedrates limited in marlin firmware itself and can be modified by gcode. so when you define a feed rate by F command check if its not greater than limit. another thing you must be aware is steps per millimeter in marlin and also stepper motor setting such as full step, half step and ... reprap micro stepping can be modified by jumper settings depending on your stepper motor driver. high micro stepping such as 1/2 or 1/4 causes loud noises and also wrong calculated numbers for "steps per millimeter" can cause stepper moving faster and make noise.

Re: nanodlp act weird with DVR8825 maybe bug ?

every where in machine setup tab and resin profile when you see Z command, at the end just type F60

Re: nanodlp act weird with DVR8825 maybe bug ?

i recommend you to change your distributor to nano dlp generic in setup/tools and modify resin profile according to your needs

Re: nanodlp act weird with DVR8825 maybe bug ?

example:
gcode before print:
G1 Z[[LayerPosition]] F60
[[WaitForDoneMessage]]
[[PositionSet [[LayerPosition]]]]

gcode after print:
G1 Z{[[LayerPosition]]+[[ZLiftDistance]]} F60
[[WaitForDoneMessage]]
[[PositionChange [[ZLiftDistance]]]]

Re: nanodlp act weird with DVR8825 maybe bug ?

It could be current issue on the driver. Check out guides on how to adjust current on your driver.

Re: nanodlp act weird with DVR8825 maybe bug ?

You should regulate the voltage by turning the screw on the dvr8825 clockwise to decrease the voltage and counter clockwise to increase it. The voltmeter should give you half the sum of the amper neded for the stepper. Which means if your stepper needs 1.4 amp you need to regulate the dvr to 0.7v if it needs 1.6A you should regulate it to 0.8v

Re: nanodlp act weird with DVR8825 maybe bug ?

Hi guys. I have exactly the same problem as reported by Nesquik001. From Nanodlp dashboard I cannot properly control Z axis moves from rpi no matter what options I try. I explain better. At startup, after rpi connect via wifi, if I go to Z motor control page, and I push, for example, up 100 button, meaning move up 100 mm, the motor starts spinning and it keeps accelerating until it reaches a point when it stops and start again but this time slowly, much slower, and it keep going like this, stopping and starting again, until it eventually completes the command. If I connect ramps directly to my laptop (iMac) and I use repetier host to control the motor, everything goes smooth as it should. I dont know what options check, but I think the problem lies in how raspberry manages communication with ramps. Any Idea?
