CPU raspberry pi3 used over 100% when loading STL

Hi everybody.
i've a raspberry pi3 B+ with Nextion 7" and Nanodlp shield v1.1.
After read yours instructions on installing touchscreen all work fine.
when i load plates in zip format it's ok but when i load a stl file the cpu is over 100%, memory too and temp go high.
The rasp become very slow and i can't do nothing

is it normal ? what i have to verify ?
generaly when i print it's zip file because i slice my models with another software but i would fix this problem.

An idea ?
(sorry for my poor english)

Hi,

It is OK. If it does not freeze completely everything should be fine.

Re: CPU raspberry pi3 used over 100% when loading STL

This is also happening with me.
Whenever I add an STL file to be sliced on RPI3, the CPU usage increases, and after slicing is completed, it persists on the high CPU usage.
This is affecting my program that turns on the projector after slicing is completed

Re: CPU raspberry pi3 used over 100% when loading STL

Actually it is normal as eventhough slicing finished, nanodlp continue check integrity of the layers.
It should end in couple of min at max
