Hi Shahin ,
In case you missed it : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5qTAmPr … e=youtu.be
This would be a very nice feature to add to Nanodlp ? What do you think about it ?

Hi,
Very cool video. We already doing anti-aliasing which in practice result same effect on both vertical and horizontal slopes.
I am not sure if anti-alias could result same type of effect on the smaller details as described on the video.

Does NanoDLP have an antialiasing setting somewhere so someone can adjust it if they want?

Anti-Alias was one of the early features which I have worked on. I have tried lots of algorithms, current one was the fastest with the best final result. It has the almost same result as photoshop bicubic resizing. Downside of the algorithm is there is no way to customize it.

Hi, Shahin! Does SLC2PNG use the same anti-aliasing algorithm as NanoDLP? Is it posible to do the right anti-aliasing from pixel data(png) or we need vector(or 3d model) to do it? Thanks!

And one more question. Does SCL2PNG use xyz anti-aliasing or xy only?
Offline
Only xy and you need vector source.

Have you check the other video? He talk about XYZ sampling filtering and intensity correction to achieve better surface results (at about 25" in the video).

Pretty informative, possible to add it with some performance impact but currently we have much more LCD based printers than DLP based ones, and due to ever increasing DPI of LCD technology, people start disabling AA.

Is there a option to switch off AA in Nanodlp? I would like to try some very detailed objects without using AA. If this matter, I am not using Nanodlp slicer - I am slicing my objects in Rhino 3D

Asiga MAX LCD new model had antialiasing feature with 5.5' LCD. Great smooth surface.

color,
Yes you can find it on profile page.
DrNK,
Could you compare result of nanodlp AA and their output?
Offline
Sure, I will do!

if I remove the AA from my printer, the pixels on XY are very noticeable,
and a version of subpixel (grayscale) on Z would be much appreciated,
even at the expense of performance.
(even this can be remedied by using the remote slicer or by doing slice it from nanodlp on pc and then export)
