Wanjao D7 print size dimension issue

Hi everyone,

As mentioned in a previous topic I have some issue on print accuracy on my D7.
A 40mm cube ends at 38mm.

I checked on the screen and the image displayed is 38mm, meaning it is a software problem, resin retraction is not involved in that case.

For the  D7 the standard resolution is 1440 by 2560, X and y resolution at 47,2 micron (if I remember well).

When I display the calibration plate the limit are out. I have to reduce resolution to 1380 by 2490.
Maximum plate I can display is 118mm by 65mm (plate is not parallel to the sides it is a little bit turned.

I updated resolution  and calculated X and y resolution (47,38 / 47,44)

I have regenerated the plate on my computer with parameters updated and then uploaded it in the rpi.
Unfortunately the image remain the same, square is 38mm instead of 40mm.

Hope you can help

Thanks

LC

Ps: I am looking forward to answer questions instead of asking them.

Re: Wanjao D7 print size dimension issue

You should not change display resolution only modify print resolution to correct micron.

Re: Wanjao D7 print size dimension issue

Hi,

I reset print resolution with current screen size. It gives me X46.28 Y45.27 for a screen 118.5 by 65.2 and resolution of 1440 by 2560 (boundaries remain out of the screen).
I see no change on calibration plate neither on my 40mm cube layer. It remains at 38mm.

I tried some stupid figures like resolution of 5 or 100 and neither calibration plate or cube show any change.

After each change I recreated the cube plate.

I don't see what I am not doing right.

Edit : Finally I used the X/Y size modifier option in resin profile, by increasing X/Y dimensions by 5,26% I get  a 40mm square displayed. I will reprint the cube to confirm the result and adjust Z size.
