Servo moving problem

Hi guys,

I have a little servo problem...

I have  a MG996R servo. The servo is connected to the pi3 gpio 7(BCM4) and i connected to a separate power source.

But it is not moving.

I don't know whats the problem the power source is fine 5.5V and a controller voltage is which come from the pi 0.4V.

Maybe the controller voltage is to low?

Have you bridged external power supply GND to RPI GND?
